Another Halloweeen Card

I love Fall and with it comes Halloween. The cool air and wonderful colors whats not to love. I saw a card on "Stampin Connection and loved it." It was made by "Stampinwithmimi". I took her idea and changed it up a little.
Instead of bats I used spiders. I also added a bat to the lid of one. The sets used are "Perfectly Perserved, Googly ghouls & Wicked Cool. The perfectly perserved & Googly Gouls are in the Holiday Catalog. Which is only out and avaiable Now till January 2, 1213.  After that  they will be gone.

Hope you have enjoyed this post and have a crafy good day.

Googly Ghouls

Don't you just love this set. I have seen so many things made with these. I got this the day befor I left on vacation. So I packed it up with very few extra things and came up with these. It shows what you can do with not much and only a black ink pad. I popped up the center on both cards to give them depth and the spider on the Frankie card. Very simple and easy. The background paper on the Frankie card is retired from last year but could be changed to this years paper. The background on the Mummy card was hand stamped using the boo stamo from the set.

I got the bundle pack from the Holiday Catalog # 129853 for only 16.95. It includes the stamp set in Clear, & the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit.

For more great ideas be sure and check back soon.  Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty good day.

Stampin up Fabric

I am here to show one of the many ways to use one of the many differnt Wonderful Fabrics Stampin up has.

I used two packs of the new Floral District fabric to make this bag. {Page 171 in the new catalog. $9.95 for 3 extra wide quaters {27"x 18"}. It has 6 pockets on the both sides and is reversable. I made this to hold my swaps at the up coming Chattanooga Reginal. The pockets are wide enough to put a card front in. So I will put my swaps on the outside pockets and gotten swaps on the inside.
I used the "It's so easy Simplicity" pattern # 2830. Just think of all the great possiblity's. I made two bags and placed them together inside out.So I could use either side for the outside.
Hope you have enjoyed this post and stop back by soon.To see my swap card and much more. Have a crafting great day!!

Off The Grid

Well I can hardly believe that I have been away from here for so long. Believe it or not I have been busy and do have some new stuff to show you.
I made this card for a friend"s bridal shower we had at work. I have a few others but of course they are on my phne and I have not down loaded them yet.
I used Melon Mambo paper, black & whisper white. Using the latger heart punch I punched out 2 white and one black heart. I ran the white one through my big shot using a embossing folder. I then added the rinestones. The word love is stamped in craft White.. The white back ground is embossed in dotted swiss.
I hope you have enjoyed this little drop in. I will be back with more as soon as I get them down loaded. Have a great day and happy crafting.

Easter Time

Hope all is ready it is just around the corner. Even with all the Rabbits & chocolate I hope all remebers the reason for the day. We should be putting Jesus first and Bunny's and Chocolate second. Ok enough on with the reason for this post.
I made this cute little bunny using the "Flirtatious" fabric. I found this cute pattern at retromama.etsy.com   Very simple and easy to put together. The orignal design calls for hand stiched eys and nose. I thought buttons would work and I like the way she turned out.  I made her for a friend and my upline. She is on her way to Florida as I type this. I have seen Owls And Teddy Bears made with our fabric But not a bunny yet.
This is the first time I have gotten any of our fabric and love it. I love that it goes so well with our stamps and projects. I am now looking at all the other ones we have in the catalog and see lots of things I would love to make using them.
Hope everyone has a great week end and enjoys the Easter Sunday with their family and friends.
May God bless you and keep you safe.

The challenge for this week over at Rubberredneck is as always a color challenge using the following Stampin up colors:

Color Round Up #67
(CRU #67)

This challenge sure gets you thinking. You are to use these colors or simular colors only on your project. Then link it back to them.
I Choose to use the set "Not So Seriously" {#123087} in unmount. I love the unmount sets they take up less room and you can see your palcement.I used the the Scallop Edge Boarder {#118402} & Subtles Designer Buttons {#119745}also on this card.

I have used this set for a few differnt things. You could come up with a lot of differnt reasons to use it. If you have a sense of humor or know some folks who do this set may just be the one for you.
I hope you go by and check out this challenge and all the great stuff on the Rubberredneck Blog. Have a great day and happy crafting

                                                 Outside                                      Inside

I made two of these for a friend of mines Kids. One in Pink and one in Blue. I really think they turned   out pretty cute. Instead of butterfly in the leaves I added a few flowers. They will be
in the mail tomorrow.

Busy Crafting Day

I opened "My Digital Studio" so I could start playing and working with it some. I love digital stamps & images. Was very excited to be able to use stampin up images in the digi format. I decided to try and make some Business Cards. I had a little bit of a hard time figuring out the margin and such. So I just worked with it for awhile & when I finished I cut them out. They were smaller then a regular card so I decided to layer them on Daffodil delight card stock.
I added an image then colored with "Stampin Write Markers. I was really happy with the way they turned out, For my first time using "My Digital Studio". I only made a few Figure I can make more as I need them.
I also used my Big shot to cut scalloped square pieces of fabric in order to make several paper back book covers. Some Nursing students at work are having a conference and are going to have a booth there selling some things. They have asked me to make some stuff for them to add to their booth. So I thought these might be good for them to take with them.
I hope you enjoyed this post and come back soon to see what I come up with. Have a great day and happy crafting

Good Morning

Well I am going to start trying to make at least a weekly post of what I have been up to.
Today, I am once again posting some things I have made in the past. I bought some
Martha Sewart coasters and stamped the "Hello Dolly" on them using Versa Mark & embossed
them with winter white embossing powder. I then stamped the image on the card front with
"Pink Pirourtte". I then used "whisper White Ribbon" {retired}. Then stamped the word Love & added a punched flower.

I gave this to someone at work for her wedding. She loved it. I will be back here on Friday with another post of some things I worked on this Morning with my Upline "Eve Bent". She lives in Flordia and ILive in Tennesse. We get together via Skype at least a few times a month and spend several hours just chatting and stamping. Not quite as much fun as being in the same room together but still great. We always have great fun.

Hope you have enjoyed this post and will come back to see what else is coming up.
